Oyate Hope Academy is a nonprofit Christian school providing a comprehensive education for children in grades Kindergarten through 8.
Mission: Meet the educational and social emotional needs of Lakota students through a rigorous academic program that unites the mind, heart, and spirit.
Vision: To see students awakening to their God-given potential and embracing their capabilities to positively impact themselves, their families, and their community.
How Your Donations Help: 1) for their new school building, allowing for expanded enrollment by 80%; 2) for individualized care packages for each OHA teacher to give to their students; 3) for scholarship programs focused on enabling key skills and opportunities for students to excel

Oglala Re*Creation & Worship Center (ORWC) is a small mission church within walking distance of the two major housing complexes in Oglala, SD. They are a multi-purpose facility, open most days of the week, for after-school kids' programs, youth night, Bible studies, worship services, community events, etc.
Vision: we believe that God has called us among the Lakota people to be "A LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS."

Henry Brown

Previous Ministries
Kid’s Time, Pine Ridge Reconciliation Center,
Henry Brown, a Lakota Christian who has been serving the youth of Pine Ridge for over 30+ years, has retired from youth ministry in the summer of 2025. He is now focused on his health in Rapid City. In true Henry fashion, he is continuing to volunteer at a Christian school in Rapid City (Living Hope Academy).
